Basma Al Mahd

Basma is a Palestinian woman from Bethlehem who’s had a passion for working with clay since she was a child. As a disabled person, she faces many obstacles. With the love and support of her family, she’s been able to turn her artistic expression into a business as a ceramic artist. Basma went to school in Bethlehem where she learned to speak fluent Italian and has traveled to Italy several times to learn from other ceramic artisans.
