Hand embroidered in the Square Kufic Arabic style, this stunning framed tatreez art piece honors the village of “Jenin.” Square Kufic Arabic is a stylized geometric version of the ancient Kufic Arabic calligraphy which dates back to the 7th - 10th century. 

The city of Jenin lies along the ancient trade route from Nablus to Haifa. Today it’s a scenic city on a hill, overlooking groves of olive, fig, and citrus trees.
