Basket Wall Hanging by Women in Salfit

This beautiful new basket, with an approximate diameter of 20 inches, can be used as a wall hanging or a decorative serving platter. These baskets are crafted by women from the organization Bait Alturath in the Salfit Area of the West Bank. The organization is led by Founder and Director Salma Bozeyeh, who has been creating these stunning baskets for 15 years. Salma conducts three to four training sessions annually, teaching the art of basket making from straw and wheat in traditional Palestinian designs. Her work aims to preserve authentic Palestinian heritage while also providing support to local women.
