Nablus Bandana Keffiyeh - Crown Daisy (Dark Green)

A good mix of style and solidarity, our new Nablus Keffiyeh Bandanas are a little bigger than your usual bandana yet smaller and perhaps a bit dressier than a traditional keffiyeh. Made from a soft, silky fabric that drapes beautifully, you can wear it around your neck, on your head or even tie it onto your bag. 

This particular Keffiyeh Bandana features the Crown Daisy motif. The Crown Daisy (Chrysanthemum coronarium) is a common wildflower in Palestine often seen between February and May in open fields as a sea of little yellow flowers. The greens of these flowers are edible and rich in vitamins, making them a traditional food source. The presence and abundance of wildflowers are significant to Palestinian identity, culture, and cuisine.

Nablus Keffiyeh Factory 
The Nablus Keffiyeh Factory is an old textile factory in the northern West Bank that had been closed for years due to the Israeli occupation's stifling of the local economy. In 2023, a group of young Palestinians helped re-open the factory in order to make traditional products including high quality keffiyehs. The factory already employs 6 people working hard to make the keffiyehs to sell locally and internationally.
