A beautiful hand-embroidered hoodie featuring the Gaza Necklace tatreez motif, a design originating in the coastal Gaza region. Traditionally stitched by Ghazawi women directly onto the chest panels of their thobes, the motif creates a symbolic and enduring display of jewelry (a necklace) believed to carry talismanic and protective power. These hoodies are part of a collaboration between Nablus Kuffiya and Palestinian women tatreez artists in the West Bank. Care: Machine wash cold, line dry or lay flat to dry. Nablus Kufiya, a textile business in Nablus, has recently started collaborating with Palestinian women embroidery workshops in Dar Abir and Dar Hiba to incorporate traditional Palestinian tatreez into its keffiyeh and clothing collections. This collaboration produces beautiful, high-quality, handmade products while providing Palestinian women with fair, sustainable income and helping preserve Palestinian tatreez for future generations.
