About the Authors
Kamal Boullata (1942–2019) was a painter and writer. The recipient of a Fulbright Senior Scholar Fellowship in 1993 and 1994 and a Ford Foundation grant in 2001, Boullata was elected as a fellow of the Wissenschaftskolleg/Institute for Advanced Study in Berlin in 2012. He is the author of four books on Palestinian art and the editor of several books on modern poetry and contemporary culture.
Burcu Dogramaci (Editor)is professor of art history at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. She is the author of Germany, a Foreign Homeland: The Return of Émigré Sculptors after 1945
