Waist belt with embroidered Palestinian houses, distorted by memory. Embroidered cotton with zipper. This hand-embroidered memory belt shows distorted images of the houses, but it is also literally holding the memories together. The most precious thoughts and objects can be kept close in the little pocket on the inside. Designed by Aya Abu Ghazaleh and handmade in the Gaza Refugee Camp in Jordan.
