Large Basket by Women in Salfit

Beautiful new basket  that can be used as a wall hanging or a decorative serving platter, approximately 20" diameter 

These baskets are made by women in the organization, Bait Alturath in the Salfit Area of the West Bank. The Founder and Director is Salma Bozeyeh who has been making these beautiful baskets for 15 years. She leads 3 to 4 trainings per year on basket making from straw and wheat in traditional Palestinian designs. She is inspired to preserve  authentic Palestinian heritage while also helping to support local women.
